Refreshing Cucumber Cooler Recipe
This Cucumber Cooler is very refreshing!
It has a great cucumber taste, is low calorie & low carb, and is lovely served over ice.

Cucumber Cooler
Light refreshing summer drink
Equipment
- Nice glass to serve the drink in
- Muddler or a fork or masher to crush cucumber
Ingredients
- 1/4 Cucumber diced into small pieces. Optional to leave skin on the cucumber or remove it.
- 2 oz Tequila (can substitute vodka or cucumber flavored vodka)
- 1/2 oz Elderflower liquor
- 1/2 oz Orange Liquor (Combier, Gran Marnier, ...)
- 1 oz Lime Juice
- 2-4 oz Seltzer or sprite or lime flavored seltzer or Prosecco or water
- 1/2 oz OPTIONAL: Simple Syrup (only if you feel the drink needs to be sweetened)
Instructions
- Dice the cucumber and put into cocktail shaker or a nice glass
- Add a splash of seltzer to the diced cucumber, then use a muddler or fork or masher to crush the cucumber and release the juice
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the shaker / glass
- Add ice to the shaker / glass
- Cover the cocktail shaker and shake all ingredients. If not using a shaker, then stir the ingredients with a spoon.
- Pour into a pretty glass, and serve over ice.
- Optional: You can decorate with a lime wedge or a cucumber slice.
- Optional: You can strain out cucumber pieces or leave the cucumber pieces in the drink.

I love cucumber drinks!
Great recipe… but what is a cucumber crusher???
You are right. It is a cucumber muddler, not crusher. I’ll fix the recipe. But anything can be used to mash the peeled cucumber, even a fork. Enjoy!
